Jenny and I are also celebrating our 60th birthdays and all of our sons will be home for that. We are blessed in our life together and in the shelter of a so many great friends and such an embracing community. Who could ask for more?
I feel we are in one of those thin places that the Celts talk about. I am also in a liminal place in my life open to what might be next. Life is sweet and I am deeply grateful.
"At any time you can ask yourself: At which threshold am I now standing? At this time in my life, what am I leaving? Where am I about to enter? What is preventing me from crossing my next threshold? What gift would enable me to do it? A threshold is not a simple boundary; it is a frontier that divides two different territories, rhythms, and atmospheres."

To top of the morning, our second baby calf for the season.
