Hope you’re enjoying the summer so far! We, the Rose Gellert String Quartet (Will Chen, Llowyn Ball, Peter Ing, and Ben Goheen), invite you to join us for a fun and memorable evening of music and storytelling as we explore the theme of music and – fittingly for our beautiful venue: Swallowfield Farm – barnyard animals! On the program will be Haydn’s “Horseman” quartet as well as a new musical setting of the classic Brothers Grimm fairytale “Town Musicians of Bremen'' composed by local talent, Mark Wardrop. We’re certain that this engaging lineup will entertain both the young and the young-at-heart.. a good time shall be had by all!

- Date/Time: Tuesday, 23 August @ 7pm
- Location: Swallowfield Farm (7296 Telegraph Trail, Langley -- check it out here!)
- Cost: By donation -- suggested minimum of $25 per adult (pay ahead with e-transfer or prepare a cash donation)
If you'd like to attend, please RSVP to [email protected] (and please indicate how many guests are in your party as space is limited! We plan on hosting the event inside the barn, which will be nice and cosy – and perfect for a musical barnyard story!
A few other important details:
PARKING: Please park in the designated pasture to avoid parking on Telegraph Trail
BRING: Please bring your own chair if you can do so easily, just in case it's needed (but don't worry if you can't: there will be many already set up!); also feel free to bring a water bottle -- or another bevy to enjoy!
