Tomorrow is election day in Sierra Leone; an important day for testing this fragile democracy in West Africa. We take for granted all of the structures that we have in place that make for stability and for calm turnover of governments. This is not true in much of the world, including Sierra Leone. Presidents are elected to five year terms and the current President, Ernst Bai Koroma of the APC party, has served two terms. Though still crippled by corruption, the country seems to have moved forward in a few critical areas. This election has been hotly contested and we ask that you hold this little country up in your prayers as people vote tomorrow.
